She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvador Loza and Ramona Loza; her daughter Maria Elizabeth Mireles; and her grandson Victor Ponce Mireles. She is survived by: her husband Francisco D. Mireles, Sr.; her children, Juan Mireles (Juana), Francisco J. Mireles, Jr. (Melissa), Griselda Figueroa (Allan) and Cristobal Mireles (Sarah); and her grandchildren, Lizbeth, Jaida, Claudia, Julian, Jose Manuel and Yaritza. She is also survived by numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fife Funeral Home (4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (1445 Hoffman St, Hammond, IN 46327). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the St. John Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
