She was predeceased by: her former husband Pedro Garcia, Sr.; and her father Ernesto Cantu. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Espitia; her children, Angelita Lopez (Guadalupe), Pedro Garcia (Sandra) and Isabel Garcia (Carl Mobley); her mother Petra Cantu; her grandchildren, Antonio M. Garcia, Omar Rivera, Jr., Alejandro G. Lopez, Olivia M. Garcia, Adriana I. Lopez, Angel E. Cuevas and Andres J. Garcia; and her siblings, Julian Cantu (Alicia), Juanita Bocangera (Joel), Martin Cantu (Sylvia), Jorge Cantu, Sergio Cantu (June), Ernesto Jr. Cantu (Nam), Irma Martinez (Jose), Benito Cantu (Roxanne) and Blanca Nunez (Roman). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
