We bid farewell to Manuel Alvarado of East Chicago, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 26, 2024 at the age of 72. Manuel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juana and Vincente; and his siblings, Ignacio and Carmen. He is survived by: his wife Margarita Alvarado; his children, Guadalupe (Laura Vasquez), Krystle (Enrique Rivera) and Vincent; his grandchildren, Monique (Diego Sanchez), Jorden, Julien, Jaylen, Alyana, Manuel and Aubrey; his siblings, Magdelana, Alicia (Sergio), Martin (Lupita), Jesse, Juanita (Jose Luis) and Lourdes (Antonio); and his pet Sparky. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Bosco Catholic Church (7113 Columbia Ave, Hammond, IN 46324).
