She is survived by: her parents, Antonio Cardenas and Margarita Cardenas; her daughter Janette Higareda (Santiago); and her siblings, Jose Luis Cardenas (Alejandra), Veronica Ayala (Jesus) and Lorena Zamora (Jaime). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
