He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis L. Martinez and Juanita C. Martinez; and his sister Jennifer Abernathy (Darwyn). He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Martinez (Cyndy) of Hilo, HI, Mary Alice Martinez, Patricia Martinez, Laura Martinez and Jacqueline Martinez-Quintanilla (Simon). He is also survived by nephews, and nieces.
