He was predeceased by: his brother Alfonso Garza (Martha); and his parents, Anselmo Garza and Elsa Garza (Hinojosa). He is survived by: his wife Raquel Garza (Mendez); his children, Elsa Solis (Gerardo), Ana Briseno (Guillermo), Juan Garza (Erika) and Rachel Murillo (Martin); his grandchildren, Gerardo, Luis Angel Solis (Griselda Gonzalez), Guillermo, Jr. Briseno (Tiffany), Anselmo Briseno, Juan Roberto Briseno, Alejandro Briseno, Melisa Briseno (Loui Bravo), Mark Anthony Garza (Tasha), Jaime Garza, Linda Munoz (Adonis), Andrea Garza, Christian Ali Garza, John Garza, Mandy Murillo, Angel Murillo and Angelica Murillo; and his siblings, Laura Beatrice Diaz (late Carlos), Rosa Maria Reyes (late Alfonso), Anselmo Garza (Josefina), Nelly (Carlos), Oscar (Patricia) and Luis (Lourdes). He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
