It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph R. Ramirez of East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Perez-Ramirez and Sostenes Perez-Ramirez; and his brothers, Timothy Perez, Augustine Perez, Nazario Perez, Peter Perez and John Ramirez.

He is survived by: his sisters, Remiga Lozano (late Lee), Helen Villareal (late Hector) and Mary Munoz; and his brother-in-law Lorenzo J. Munoz.
