He is survived by: his wife Orestila O. Gutierrez; his sister Alicia Prieto (late Antonio); his son Carlos A. (Priscilla); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Angel, Kiara and Kaliah; his daughter Orestila "Tila" Yamileth Ochoa; his grandchildren, Natalia (David) and Madriz; and his children, David Jesus, Ilyana Maya, Michael and Matthew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
