It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Thomas Jarrett (East Chicago, Indiana), who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence V. Jarrett and Rosie B. Jarrett. He is survived by: his wife Theresa A. Jarrett; his children, Bernard Tucker (Anisa), LaKeia Rich-Jarrett, Marques Burnett (Lisa), Kharnicia Hines (Sydney) and Avanti Jarrett Brown (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Andrew Mills, Desmond Brown, Armand Nunziato, Jaliyha Brown, Ava Nunziato, Zarria Jarrett, Jakolbi Ratcliff, Angela Brown, Kelly Brown, Bentley Hines and Jeremy Brown, Jr.; his siblings, Randy Jarrett (Sheila), Dennis Jarrett (Pam), Lawrence M. Jarrett, Tracey Cusic (Roland) and Darrin Jarrett; and his extended family, Sylvester (Iva), Keith Smith, Alexius Barber (Malcolm), Vernon Smith (Ceona) and LeTerra Smith (Edlin). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
