She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Cerda and Ignacia De La Cerda; her brother Roberto De La Cerda; and her pet Kobi. She is survived by: her husband Diego Velazquez; her children, Laura Lopez (Rogelio), Marisela Velazquez-Jacobi, Edward Velazquez (Carolyn), Lupita Castillo (Jim) and Jose Luis De La (Leticia); and her sisters, Maria De and Luz De. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
