He is survived by: his wife Loretta Grindey (Martinez); his children, John Grindey and Jennifer Martin (Keith); his granddaughter Ashley Grindey; and his siblings, Jeanne Jacobs, Jayne Mentink and Ray Jackson (Candace). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
