He was predeceased by: his child Jesse Ramirez. He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Ramirez; his children, Irma Ramirez, Nellie Mendoza, Minerva Ramirez, Genaro Ramirez and Ruben Ramirez; and his grandchildren, Tommy Jimenez, Freddie, Deanna, Jordan Mendoza, Michelle Ramirez Wilson, Neal, Melissa, Jesse, Jr., Shawn, Dolores, Christopher, Matthew and Nicky Ramirez. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; 3 nieces.
