She is survived by: her children, Emilio Puente (Bernice), Frances Prendergast (Brian), Edward Puente (Angel) and Norman Puente (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Samantha, Michael and Luke; her sister Ana Luisa Lopez; and her sister-in-law Hilda Sierra. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
