He was predeceased by: his father Ezequiel Jack Lopez; and his former wife Adda Lopez (Almazan). He is survived by: his children, Tiffany R. Lopez, David A. Lopez, Sr. (Armandina T. Moreno) and Krystal M. Moreno (Carlos); his mother Cecelia Lopez; his grandchildren, Darius "DJ" Moreno, Adda Moreno, Patricia Moreno, David R. Moreno, Cecelia "Cece" Lopez and David A. Lopez, Jr.; his siblings, Jacqueline Campos (Enrique) and Jack Lopez; and his nieces, Jennifer Peña (Miguel) and Erica Campos. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fife Funeral Home (4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312-2527). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the St. John Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
