With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Consuelo O. Castaneda of East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on May 21, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufino Ortega and Emilia Ortega. She is survived by: her husband Eliseo Castaneda; and her sister Bertha Gross (late Arthur). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church would be appreciated.
