She was predeceased by: her brothers, Pedro, Luis and Jose; her parents, Julian Matos and Dolores Matos; her husband Claudino Martinez; and her daughter Betsaida.

She is survived by: her sons, Julio Martinez, Felix Martinez (Gerri) and Tino Martinez (Claribel); her grandchildren, Felix Alex, Stephanie, Marilyn and Marcus; and her siblings, Ramon and Migdalia. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
