He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his son Carl Louis Dahlin, III; his parents, Carl Louis Dahlin, Sr. and Mary Dahlin (Rybenske); his siblings, Charles L. Dahlin, Dr. Raymond D. Dahlin and Doris Hojcus (late Rudy); his parents-in-law, Stanley and Marie Ozelie (Kaleta); and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth and Thomas Ozelie.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian C. Dahlin of Carl and Christopher Dahlin (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Jonathan R. Dahlin (Ariel), Brianna C. Kronebusch (Mason) and Jessica Dahlin; his great grandchildren, Trenton, Declan and Jaxon Dahlin; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy (late Walter), Jovanovich, Deborah Keeley, Diana Radtke, Suzanne Ozelie and Donna Edens (David Feinstein). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
