She is survived by: her children, Teresa Herrera of East Chicago, Paulino Herrera (Luz) of Dyer, Ramiro Herrera (Fabiola) of Mexico, Lydia Zamora of East Chicago, Mary Shea (Dennis) of Munster, Xavier Herrera (Martha) of East Chicago, Marie Orta (Samuel) of Corpus Christi, TX, Ponce Herrera (Laura) of Cicero, IN, Romeo Herrera (Yolanda) of Munster and Christine Castel (Fabian) of Austin, TX; and her siblings, Josefina of Mexico, Jose of Mexico, Manuel of Mexico and Gilberto Villasano of Mexico. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
