He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry DeWitt and Beatrice DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Eric DeWitt (Kelly), Cheri Taylor (Michael) and Kristie Curry (Randy); and his grandchildren, Michael Amptmeyer, Aubrey Rodriguez, Kayden DeWitt and Xander Curry.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stardust Bowl (1330 Sheffield Ave, Dyer, IN 46311).
