He was predeceased by: his siblings, Randy Rosenwinkel and Penny Rosenwinkel; and his parents, Charles Rosenwinkel and Rhomilda Rosenwinkel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Rosenwinkel; his children, Pamela Robertson (Darrell) and Charles Rosenwinkel (Julie); his grandchildren, Bryan Robertson, Brandon Robertson, Tiffany Adams (Brian), William Rosenwinkel and Joseph Rosenwinkel; his great grandchildren, Rylee Adams, Kinsley Adams and Brielle Powell; and his sibling-in-law Jerry Skorupa (Yvonne).
