She is survived by: her son Alvin Cockerham (Karen); her grandchildren, Ryan Cockerham (Cindy), Keith Cockerham, Shawn Cockerham (Brooke), Ron Roney and Dave Roney (Laurie); her great grandchildren, Ravishia Payton, Paige Roney, Kaitlyn Roney, Jake Roney and Molly Cockerham; her great great grandchild Althea Payton; and her siblings, Robert DeYoung (Slyvia), Don DeYoung, Jim DeYoung (Jean), Mike DeYoung, Sandy DeYoung and Betty Shaffer (Frank).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kish Funeral Home (10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (3401 W 87th St, Evergreen Park, IL 60805).
