She was predeceased by: her parents, Lolita and Raymond; and her brothers, Andrew and Paul. She is survived by: her niece Tracy Schatzman (Robert); her great-nieces, Alyssa and Gabriella; her nephews, James Mantel (Hillary), Jacob Mantel and Billy Hicks; and her aunts, Roselle Haas and Shelley Haas of Crown Point, Indiana.. She is also survived by many cousins and family friends.
The family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Valerie's memory.
