Though Sandra Starrett may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sandra Starrett touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Allen and Helen Allen; her siblings, Ronald Allen, Patricia Ols and Karen Allen; and her sister-in-law Christine Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Douglas Turmail; her son Greg; and her daughter-in-law Laurie Starrett of Munster, IN..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
