He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Salus; his son Daniel Salus; and his parents, John Salus and Anna Salus. He is survived by: his children, David Salus (Kimberly), Deborah Piatak (Christopher), Douglas Salus (Tina) and Donald Salus (Teri); his grandchildren, Krystle, Brittany (Billy), Matthew (Morgan), Ryan, Patrick, Brendan, Connor, Anna, Reese, Drew, Zachary, Joshua, Gunnar and Avrey; and his sibling Camille Janek.
