He was predeceased by: his siblings, Thomas Lenart and Christine Kirk. He is survived by: his wife Gail Lenart; his children, Cynthia Sabin (Jim) and Scott Lenart (Robin); his grandchildren, James, Alexandra and Mikayla; and his sisters, Eleonore Lyczak (late Al) and Elaine Labuda (Ray). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
