She was predeceased by: her siblings, Arlene Bernicky, Robert Schau and Joyce Schau; and her parents, George Schau and Rita Schau.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth; her daughters, Lisa Grooms (Kevin) and Laura Rybicki; her grandchildren, Brittany, Pete, Brenna, Hailie, Taylor, Danielle and Chase; her siblings, Georgene Kubacki (Ed) and Gerald Schau (Betty); her sister-in-law Elaine (Bill); and her nieces and nephews, David (Suzie), Mark (Michele), Steve (Cindy), Julie, Tara, Jason, Patrick (Dan), Emily (Rob) and Andy (Chanel). She is also survived by numerous cousins, great-nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Karen's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
