She was predeceased by: her daughter Myrna Fulton (late Leonard); her sister Hazel Boersma (late George); and her parents, John Klooster and Alice Klooster. She is survived by: her children, Keith DeYoung (Karen), Sherrie Parr (John) and John Boersma (Darlene); and her sister Joyce Moes (Roger).

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of the Calumet Area, Illiana Christian High School, or Chicago Christian High School.
