He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Osterman; his parents, Clarence Osterman and Ann Osterman; and his brothers, Clarence Jr., Gerald and Richard Osterman.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Osterman (Heather), Amy Osterman (Abdoulaye Camara) and Christiane Nash (Erik Dworak); his grandchildren, Isaac Nash, Isabelle Nash and Max Osterman; and his siblings, Robert Osterman (Helen) and Sharon Crowley (late Sam).
