She was predeceased by: her husband Richard G. Schepel; her brother Nelson Eylander (Wilma); and her parents, Nelson J. Eylander and Alice Eylander. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Verhagen (Chuck) and Barb Van Prooyen (Tom); her grandchildren, Steven Verhagen (Jana), Ryan Van Prooyen, Kimberly Vanden Berg (Chris), Jordan Van Prooyen and Kelsey Vander Wal (Lucas); her great grandchildren, Nathan, Elliot, Emersyn, Lincoln and Nolan; and her sister Joan Van Schouwen (Andrew).
