He is survived by: his children, Katherine McGuffin (Kevin), Wayne Johnson (Sharon), Roseann Backlin (Gene), Jacqueline Burns (Dan), Ginger Johnson (Shannon Abney), Gerald Johnson Jr. (Elizabeth) and Wendy Borcherding (Duane); his grandchildren, Benjamin McGuffin, Sarah Stallard (Jason), Brandon McGuffin, Jeff Johnson, Zachary Backlin (Aften), Marissa Backlin, Ethan Backlin (Madi), Daniel Burns (Kadelyn), Dylan Burns, Steven Shifflet, Sophie Shifflet, Kimberly Johnson, Samuel Johnson, Emma Johnson and Bayle Borcherding; his great grandchildren, Layla McGuffin, Aiden Stallard, Keira Stallard, Rowynn Burns, Oliver Burns and Sadie Burns; and his sister Sandi Kawanna (late Ronald).
