He is survived by: his children, Chad Schmidt (Kristin) of Lowell and Donna VanSchouwen (Loren) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Hayley, Mason Schmidt, Kaitlyn, Jake VanSchouwen, Connor Haberlin and Niko Pellegrini; his great grandchildren, Raelynn and Oliver; and his close friend JoJo.
