She is survived by: her significant other Theodore (Ted); and her children, Theodore Beemsterboer (Priscilla), Elizabeth Rogers (Michael) and Ann Beemsterboer Oehmen. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren; and 2 great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to any of following organizations that Dorothy supported: Calumet Humane Society in Munster, Indiana; St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Dyer, Indiana; or Misericordia (Heart of Mercy) in Chicago, in Dorothy's name.
