She is survived by: her children, Carl, Helen Bussema, Diane, Peter Spoelhof and Susan Vellekoop (Steve Pietras); her grandchildren, Sara Mee (Mike), Carl Bussema III (Steph), John Bussema, Ryan Spoelhof (Rebekah), Mark Spoelhof, David Spoelhof, Kurt Vellekoop (Sara) and Arie Vellekoop; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Leo, Johan, Ronin, Anders, Rhys, Diederik, Evan and Lillian; her brother Martin Wondaal (Norma); and her brother-in-law George Schaaf.
Contributions in memory of Doris can be made to the Auditorium Campaign of Illiana Christian High School, honoring her values of faith and education.
