She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Tony Brummel; her children, Alyssa Brummel and Derek Brummel; her grandchildren, Lance Anthony and Ruby Brielle; her parents, Peter Schurman and Shirley Schurman; her siblings, Diane Vander Schaaf (David), David Schurman (Janice), Donna Mazrimas (Greg) and Dawn Purdy (Keith); her parent-in-law Jan Brummel; and her siblings-in-law, Margo Van Der (Mark) and Tim Brummel (Mary).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church (3500 Glenwood Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
