He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Slavena; his brother John Slavena; and his son-in-law Mike Ferree. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen and Diane Ferree; his granddaughters, Sarah Hodapp (Eli), Emily Humphrey (Chris), Rachel Lucas (Jonathan) and Katie Ferree; his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Dakota and Viola; his brother Bill Slavena (Joanne); and his sister-in-law Judy Slavena.
