She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Cretton and Viola Cretton; her former husband Joe; her brothers, Danny and David; and her grandparents, Karolina and Paul Lehocky.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Shimko of Gary, Indiana.; her siblings, Lisa Cretton and Paul Cretton (Sandra); and her cousin Brett Lehocky.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Maria Goretti Church (500 Northgate Dr, Dyer, IN 46311). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Half Liter BBQ (5301 Winthrop Ave suite b, Indianapolis, IN 46220).
