We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 62, Barbara J. Olshavsky of Dyer, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frank Olshavsky; her children, Allen Olshavsky, Gena Olshavsky and April Rosario; her grandchildren, Jade, Angelina, Skylee, Mia and Keagan; her great grandchildren, Leah, Daxton and Charlie Luke; her parents, Betty Farner and Charles Farner; her sister Janet Farner Boren (William); and her nephews, William Boren Jr. and Michael Boren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Memory Lane Memorial Park (6305 W Lincoln Hwy Hwy, Crown Point, IN 46307).
Memorial contributions in Barbara's memory may be given to the Olshavsky family.
