It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin James Bruinsma of Dyer, Indiana, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Patricia, Vern Stadt (late Larry Smith), Dean (Vanessa Doty) and Brian (Debbie Kolosh). He is survived by: his parents, Amy Smith (Loren) and Eric Bruinsma (Kelly); his siblings, Zakary, Troy, Kelsey and Noah; and his grandmother Kathy (Jim Bruinsma). He is also survived by his many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
