With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Antonio Rodeo Maggi of Dyer, Indiana, born in East Chicago, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Maggi. He is survived by: his children, Eva Morganthaler (Fred), Anthony Maggi (Melissa Dean) and Patrick Maggi (Theresa); his grandchildren, Jessica Schoettle (Bryan), Fred J. Morganthaler II (Michelle), Elizabeth Charter (Hayden), Ella Dean, Patrick Maggi (Cristina) and Kara Barno (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Mariah, Brendan, Cooper, Drew, Evan, Cora, Margot, Ellis and Tyler.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tony's name to a charity of your choosing.
