William Edward Birge Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2023, at the age of 72, William Edward Birge of Dupont, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Birge and Gracie Cochran Birge Cosby; and his sister Barbara Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lucille "Cookie" Baker Birge of Dupont, Indiana; his daughters, Billie Jo Fields (Wayne) of Dupont, Carrie Lynn Floyd (Jimmy) of Madison and Angela Lee (Rob) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Cody Banks, Austin Banks (Abigail), Andrea Hanover (Taylor), Ashley Fields, Selena Fields, Bryson Fields, Elijah Fields, Carter Fields, Maricle Fields, John Marshall, Jacob Marshall (Annabella), Skylar Lee (Kaytlynn Sommer), Lane Jines, Logan Jines (Nathan Freeman) and Riley Jines; his sisters, Laveda Vandewater of Leesburg and Juanita Torres of Madison, Indiana; his sister-in-law Patty Gaines (Mark) of Hanover, Indiana; his uncle Joe; and his aunts, Sheila Birge and Dolly Minyard of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
