He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Lucille (Buis) and Orrin Evert Franklin; and his daughter-in-law Marla Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Freda; his sons, Kevin E. Franklin of Dunkirk, IN. and Brian Franklin (Shelia) of Middletown, IN.; and his siblings, Larry Smith (Dee Dee) of Winter Haven, Billie White of Muncie, IN., Judy Ziems (Fred) of Daytona Beach, FL. and Pat Tuttle of Muncie, IN.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
