With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Christie of Dunkirk, Indiana, born in Portland, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Staton and Mary Jane Staton (Smith); her husband Franklin; and her brother Richard Staton. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Lee Christie (Miriam) of Simpsonville, SC and Kevin Lee Christie of Dunkirk, IN; her siblings, James Staton (Janet) of Parkersburg, WV, Thomas Staton (Cindy Welch) of Pennville, IN and Carolyn Otto (Dennis) of Pennville, IN; her grandsons, Jason, Zachary and Dylan Christie; her great grandchildren, Parker and Sophia; and her sister-in-law Debra Staton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
