We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2021, at the age of 79, Della Mae Zimmerman of Dunkirk, Indiana, born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley Thompson Sr. and Jenny Ann Thompson (Hardin); her husband Thaddeus J. Zimmerman; her daughter Marilyn A. Zimmerman; and her siblings, Dudley Thompson Jr., Shirley Ewing and Carolyn Pullen.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" J. Zimmerman (Sherry) of Upland, Melody A. Zimmerman (Jon Emery) of Upland and Rodney A. "Rocky" Zimmerman of Dunkirk; her grandchildren, Tiffany Ramsey (Joshua), Joshua Zimmerman, Daniel Zimmerman, Jennifer Stephens (Bryan), Randy Overla Jr. (Amy), Bradley Overla (Megan), Corey Zimmerman and Austin Zimmerman (Kerri Collins); and her siblings, Doris McCubbins of Shepherdsville, KY, Darlene Thompson of Elizabethtown, KY, Jody Thompson (Barb) of Radcliff, KY, Patsy Ewing of Elizabethtown, KY, Michael Thompson (Aubrey) of Boston, KY and Denise Baker (Eddie) of Boston, KY. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
