With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Weldon Chase Willey Jr. of Dugger, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2024 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon C. Wiley and Helen L. Willey (Kephart); his former wife Pamela Sue Benham; his wife Margaret Taylor; and his siblings, Charlotte Zimmerman, Thomas K. Willey and William A. Willey.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Amy M. Merritt Hobbs (Timothy J.) and Kimberly S. Merritt Smith (Kevin); and his siblings, Carolyn S. Stahl (Willey), Brenda J. Rucker (Willey), Wanda L. Chandler (Willey), Janet A. Richmond (Raymond) and James M. Willey (Geneva D.). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
