She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Figg and Raynold Figg; and her brother Larry Figg (Jerri). She is survived by: her husband Garland Stanton; her children, Scott (Larissa), Brett (Lynn), Leah Stanton Allman (Craig) and Susan Stanton; her brothers, Ben Figg (Ruth), Mike Figg (Dot) and Tucker Figg (late Criss); and her caregiver Aubrey Cooper.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made to JDRF in honor of Margaret L Stanton.
