She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Helms and Lucille Helms (Wilder); her daughter Mona Brinner; and her brother Charles Helms. She is survived by: her husband William McCarty; her sons, Vernon Brinner (Sandy) of Bloomfield and Lee Brinner (Roberta) of Aurora; her stepson John McCarty (Lisa); and her daughter Stacy Reagan Gladsglow (Brandon) of Kentucky. She is also survived by step-brother two step-sisters, and eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
