He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ross Williams Sr. and Electa Mae Pertuset Williams; and his siblings, Eugene Williams, Marjorie Demaree, Nettie Hutter and June Defrees.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Swan Williams; and his children, Steven R. Williams (Victoria) of Murfreesboro, TN, James Richard Williams (Cinda) of Bloomfield, IN, Michael Williams (Dana) of Dugger, IN and Kelli J. Miller (Doug) of Bloomfield, IN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
