He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lee "Teak" Ashburn and Dessie Alumbaugh Ashburn; his wife Mary Louis Grayless Ashburn; his daughter Terri Thompson; and his siblings, Robert Lee Ashburn, Doris Mae Steele and Maude Reynolds.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Ashburn (Lena) of Dugger, IN.; his grandchildren, Sara Ashburn and Kassie Boone (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Harley, Layton, Pantera Hintz and Carter Boone.
