She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Sander and Helen Sander (Seger); her husband Warren E. Doty; her grandson Nathan Sonderman; and her sister Alice Lueken.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Sonderman (John) of Jasper, IN, Carrie Kline (Gabriel) of Jasper, IN, John Doty (Tere Robinson) of French Lick, IN and Charles Doty (Audrey) of Jasper, IN; and her siblings, Joan Schroering of Jasper, IN, Dennis Sander (Mary Ann) of Dubois, IN and Joe Sander (Debbie) of Jasper, IN.. She is also survived by child care provider, a foster mother for 23 children, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
