He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James "Bud" Shipman and Emma Jane McFarland (Jones); his grandparents, Earl and Grace Shipman (Jordan); his stepfather Robert McFarland; his sister Linda Smith; his wife Glenda Shipman of Dubois; his daughters, Megan Betz (Josh) of Indianapolis and Miranda Krieg (Adam) of Tell City; his siblings, Tim Conrad (Lola) of French Lick, Mike Conrad (Ruth) of French Lick, Jerry Wayne Shipman of Indianapolis, Doug Shipman of French Lick, Patty Denny of Muncie, Connie Burns (Terry) of Muncie, Brenda King (Dave) of Muncie, Barbara Shipman of Indianapolis and Jamie Shipman of West Baden, Indiana; his siblings-in-law, Dennis "Dink" Smith of Muncie, George Hinkle (Cindy) of Columbus and Barb Young (Bill) of Flower Mound; his grandchildren, Cohen, Macy and Brenna Betz; and his siblings-in-law, Callista, Emmett and Lenora.
